How climatic qualification enters the argument

Keep monthly selection primary while climate qualifies it; read the winter-Wood limit on Officer/Seal and the qualified disclosed-Food example with its two stated roles.

The climate section of Ziping zhenquan places climatic qualification inside its selection argument. It does not redefine every occurrence of yongshen as a climate-adjusting factor. Its opening keeps monthly selection primary and then requires climate to be considered jointly. The useful question is how a particular seasonal qualification narrows an existing judgment, and how one relationship can have both a configuration role and a climatic role.

We read only this section in NLC46443, from the middle of scan 31, printed 18, to the upper continuation on 32, printed 19, before the separate xiangshen heading. Climate here uses cold and warmth vocabulary within a historical divination model. Its claims about nobility and refinement are studied as claims, not accepted as botanical, meteorological or scientifically validated life predictions. Cross-book climate comparison is reserved for its planned reading.

Primary selection and joint reference coexist

The opening says: “論命惟以月令用神為主,然亦須配氣候而互參之.” Monthly yongshen remains primary, but climate must also be brought into joint consideration.[1] Primary retains the entrance; but also introduces a required additional check. Omitting either half changes the stated relationship between these tasks.

A study card can put monthly selection and wider configuration in one field, the specified climatic qualification in another, and joint reference between them. The second field is not decoration. It can alter whether a prior inference is still applicable. Nor does it replace the first field completely; the next paragraph shows an existing relationship being qualified.

Month Command and climatic meaning consequently do different work even when both involve season. The monthly entrance participates in day-stem relationships; the climatic discussion adds a cold/warm explanation. A modern civil-month name does not by itself show that either task, much less both, has already been completed.

A strong general claim is immediately narrowed

The next passage initially describes Seal encountering Officer as Officer and Seal both complete, with nobody failing to be noble. It then adds: “而木逢冬水,雖透官星,亦難必貴.” Wood encountering winter Water, even with Officer disclosed, is not necessarily noble.[2] The however, even though and qualified conclusion belong to the same argument as the strong preceding assertion.

Displaying only the first sentence would present an unqualified status guarantee. Reducing the second to winter Wood is bad would lose the Officer/Seal comparison, the disclosed Officer and the climatic qualification. The more accurate account is that the author narrows a general configuration assessment under a specific winter-Wood/Water condition.

We endorse neither clause as a reliable judgment about actual people's status. The checkable feature is how the passage itself limits its previous statement. Difficult to ensure nobility is not a statement of inevitable failure. Its qualified wording should remain qualified in translation and diagrams.

Frozen Water not generating Wood belongs to its explanatory model

The passage explains that cold Metal makes Water more frozen, and frozen Water does not generate Wood.[2] This introduces climatic qualification alongside the familiar generating relationship. That additional condition explains why the author does not apply the general support statement unchanged in the example.

Explaining a model differs from proving it. We can translate the cold, frozen and Wood-generating language faithfully and identify its argumentative function. We cannot call this divinatory account an established natural-science mechanism. The Wood is not specified as a measured plant species, the Water is not an observed environmental sample, and no statistical life-outcome evidence is supplied.

Our diagram therefore identifies the explanation as the author's traditional cold/warm account. It supplies no Celsius threshold, geographical weather data or bodily indicator. Such numbers would make a historical explanation appear empirically calibrated without evidence in the cited material.

The disclosed-Food example begins with structural qualifications

The next continuous passage begins “身印兩旺,透食則貴,” retaining both the self and Seal as flourishing, with Food disclosed. It then applies the relationship to winter Wood and says: “火不惟可以洩身,而即可以調候也.” Fire not only releases the self but can also adjust the climatic condition.[3]

The order of explanation matters. The passage first states the flourishing self/Seal and disclosed-Food entrance, then winter Wood, then two operations. An extract reduced to Fire adjusts climate deletes the original configuration. It could no longer explain why that factor entered this particular argument.

Not only, but also allows two roles to coexist. The disclosed Food relationship has its configuration task under the stated entrance, while the winter-Wood context supplies a further climate-adjusting role for the discussed Fire. A climatic role does not erase the prior configuration role; the earlier release role does not erase the explicit climatic one either.

A climatic role is not a missing-phase shopping rule

The passage does not instruct readers to count phases and add whatever occurs least. Its entrance is flourishing self and Seal, disclosed Food and winter Wood. Rewriting it as an abstract lack-of-Fire checklist deletes those conditions. Adding advice about colors, objects or luck products would also introduce a purchasing intervention that the passage does not state.

The traditional claim about disclosed Food and nobility remains attributed to the old work. It does not become a reliable modern income strategy. The analysis concerns how two roles enter an argument; it proposes no real intervention in health, investment or personal safety.

This distinction is useful even without any practical proposal. Readers can ask whether an abstract preserves the specified self/Seal state and disclosure, whether it names winter Wood, and whether it retains both operations. A complete relation card is more informative than a single favorable Fire label.

Two internal examples make joint consideration concrete

The first example narrows a general Officer/Seal assessment under winter-Water conditions. The second adds a climatic explanation to a relationship already discussed through self, Seal and Food. Climate can qualify an inference or add a role, without wholly replacing the monthly entrance.

A final note can record the general relationship, the climatic qualification, which inference changes, and whether the same factor receives another role. These fields make joint consideration visible as argumentative work rather than a few incidental seasonal remarks. How another book builds a climate-adjustment system requires its own identified passages and comparison, rather than a merger based on familiar terminology.
